Utvika Gard og Camping is located in a beautiful central location in the triangle of Oslo (40km.), Honefoss (19km.) and Drammen (40km.). An ideal campsite to explore the beautiful surroundings from a quiet place. A hike (approx. 30 minutes) to Kongens Utsikt is definitely recommended. There you have a great view over the Tyrifjord. From 2019, Utvika Gard og Camping has renovated sanitary facilities and a new kiosk annex camping shop annex restaurant. Boats and canoes are rented at the campsite and cabins and rooms are available for rent.

At Utvika Gard og Camping

Various accommodations are available for rent at Utvika Gard og Camping. The camping pitches at Utvika Gard og Camping are partly on gravel and partly on grass. Some are located directly on the Tyrifjord. Utvika Gard og Camping also has a large playground with a trampoline, swings, a slide and play equipment. There is a petting zoo, a barbecue area, a restaurant and in high season there is a small supermarket open where you can get fresh rolls in the morning.

Utvika Gard og Camping is located directly on the Tyrifjord, where you can enjoy fishing. Boats can be rented at the campsite. There is also a marina. The campsite has a sandy beach with a beach volleyball court. You can swim in the fjord and there is a water trampoline. An absolute must: take a canoe onto the Tyrifjord. Experience the peace and beauty of the surroundings from the water. Canoes can be rented at the campsite.

The stately Akershus Slott, the Slottet - the Royal Palace of Oslo, the Vigeland Park (statues), the Viking Ship Museum, the Oslo Opera House or enjoy shopping and a terrace at the Karl Johans Gate, Oslo has a lot to offer. And since Utvika Gard og Camping is only 40km. away from Oslo, you can take several days to visit Oslo.

Located between Honefoss and Oslo, not far from the E16

Many campers who want to visit Oslo or arrive in Oslo by ferry look for a campsite a short distance from the city. Utvika Gard og Camping is only 40km. away from the port of Oslo and is also close to the E16 which runs from Oslo via Honefoss, Fagernes and Voss towards Bergen. A good place to stay if you want to travel further towards the fjords or visit the beautiful city of Bergen.
