Utladalen Camping is beautifully situated on a river in Utladalen, the gateway to the Jotunheimen from the west. The campsite is located near the pleasant center of Ovre Ardal, where you will find various shops, restaurants and supermarkets. Many campers visit Utladalen Camping to visit the Vettisfossen (proclaimed the most beautiful waterfall in Norway). This is only 3.6km. distance from the campsite. Utladalen is also called “the valley of the waterfalls”, because there are no fewer than 4 waterfalls in the valley, including the Vettisfossen. The camping pitches at Utladalen Camping are largely located on grass. There are also various cabins for rent at the campsite.
