Mindresunde Camping is a small cozy campsite with an idyllic location directly on the beautiful Strynsvatn (lake). The view from the campsite on the snow-capped mountain peaks in the area and on the beautiful blue water of the lake is breathtakingly beautiful. The campsite has a dozen cabins which are located directly on the water. Even if you are on the road with your tent, caravan and motorhome, you can camp right on the lake. The Strynsvatn is ideal for fishing, swimming, canoeing and SUP. Beautiful !
At Mindresunde Camping
Most of the cabins and camping pitches at Mindresunde Camping are located directly on the beautifully blue colored water of the Strynsvatn (lake). Due to its location on the lake, there are good swimming, fishing and water sports opportunities. Boats and canoes can be rented at the campsite, there is a barbecue area, a playground with trampoline, a recreation room with TV and free WIFI. The camping pitches are situated on grass.

The Skare family has run this small site since time immemorial. And that can be seen at Mindresunde Camping. The sanitary facilities are not modern, but super clean. The grass is always neatly mowed. The entire campsite is very well maintained. And there is also a lot of attention for the guests. The owners are happy to help you with information and planning activities.
Surroundings of Mindresunde Camping
The surroundings of Mindresunde Camping are breathtakingly beautiful. Snow-capped peaks and waterfalls in combination with the beautifully colored water of the Strynsvatn, gorgeous! The campsite is about 10km. away from the pleasant center of Stryn. The Stryn Summer Ski Area, the spectacular Loen Skylift, Via Ferrata Loen and the Briksdal Glacier are also in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. In addition, day trips to the beautiful Nordfjord (Panoramavegen!), the Geirangerfjord, the Lom Stave Church and the beautiful valleys at Loen and Olden are highly recommended.
