Skysstasjonen Kro og Camping is located in the center of the village of Roldal. There is a supermarket opposite the campsite, but you don\\'t have to leave the campsite for a tasty sandwich. Because Skysstasjonen Kro og Camping has a restaurant with a café, where you can not only order delicious sandwiches, but also enjoy a snack and/or a drink on the terrace. Winter sports in Roldal
Roldal is a well-known and popular winter sports resort in Norway because of its guaranteed snow and the fact that the ski center of Roldal is only 5km. away from the center of Roldal. In the immediate vicinity of Skysstasjonen Kro og Camping you will also find no less than 11km. on cross-country trails. And so the campsite is also an excellent starting point for winter sports.
Roldal Stave Church
Roldal Stave Church (“Røldal stavkyrkje”) is within walking distance of Skysstasjonen Kro og Camping. The church dates from the 13th century and is still in use. The Roldal stave church is one of the oldest ring churches in Norway and attracts many tourists, mainly because of its history and beautiful decorations.
Central location on the E134 between Seljord and Haugesund
Roldal has become a regular stop for many campers along the E134 between Seljord and Haugesund. Not only the location is important, but also the fact that you generally still have space here at the campsites in Roldal. If you continue towards the Hardangerfjord, the campsites in Odda, Kinsarvik and Voss, for example, are a lot busier. And so many campers stay an extra night.
