This rustic campsite is located in an idyllic spot directly on the fjord. With a view of various waterfalls and impressive mountains. Many campers visit Eikhamrane Camping to avoid the crowds at the campsites in Odda and Kinsarvik and are looking for a quiet place to camp. The camping pitches are situated on the sloping terrain between the fruit trees and on a number of terraces. The campsite has a small number of cabins and a beautifully situated tipi tent. From the veranda you have a beautiful view of the campsite and the beautiful surroundings.
At Eikhamrane Camping
Eikhamrane Camping has simple but well-maintained sanitary facilities, free WIFI, a small playground and from the campsite you can reach a pebble beach by the fjord and swim in the fjord. There are also good fishing opportunities in the area. Rowing boats are available at the campsite and you can borrow a canoe, SUP board and fishing rod. The campsite is about 16km. from Odda where you will find various shops, restaurants and supermarkets. The new manager of Eikhamrane Camping also organizes family and company outings and team building, such as fjord trips, tours with spectacular views and cider tasting.
Hardangerfjord, Cider and visit Bergen
Situated right on a spur of the Hardangerfjord near Odda, Eikhamrane Camping is a lovely place for a longer stay. For example, to visit the beautiful city of Bergen. Or to take beautiful walks on the Hardangervidda, the largest plateau in Europe. But you should also pay a visit to one of the many cider companies on the Hardangerfjord. Folgefonna, Trolltunga and Hanakamb
Eikhamrane Camping is a popular place with campers who like hiking and have for example the Folgefonna glacier, the Trolltunga and the mountain Hanekamb on their bucket list. Folgefonna National Park actually consists of 3 glaciers and covers an area of over 200km2. The Trolltunga (“the tongue of the Troll”) is also easily accessible from Eikhamrane Camping. The Trolltunga is a horizontally protruding rock with a great view over the Ringedalsvannet. Very popular. A walk to the Hanakamb is also recommended.
