Kyrping Camping in Etne in the Vestland region (Hordaland)
Kyrping Camping is in a beautiful location, right on the Akrafjord. The view from the campsite is phenomenal. The campsite has various cabins (all with bathroom and kitchen) and apartments and most accommodations have a view of the fjord. The Akrafjord has a length of 32km. and even though the meltwater from the Folgefonna glacier ends up in the fjord, a dip in the water is very popular. If you prefer to take it a bit easier, you can rent various boats at the campsite. To view the surroundings from the water or to cast a fishing line. By the way, there is a nice fish cleaning area at the campsite.

The cabins and apartments are widely spread across the campsite. The camping pitches at Kyrping Camping are also located in various places. There are special places for tents. For campers, there are a number of “Seafront” pitches located directly on the fjord. What a view! The campsite has a small beach, a jetty, a playground with a jumping pillow, a camping shop and café (only open in the summer months) and SUP boards and boats can be rented. The WIFI at Kyrping Camping is free.
Haugesund, Akrafjord, Folgefonna, Langfoss and Latefoss
The nearest large city (Haugesund) is 80km. away. Haugesund has a nice center and is the cradle for the Vikings. Along the way you drive almost "under" the Langfoss waterfall, one of the highest waterfalls in Norway. Another waterfall – a double one even – is located on the road to Odda: the Latefoss. If you are a fanatical hiking enthusiast, a walk to Folgefonna glacier and the Trolltunga is highly recommended in the Odda area.
