Stolpestad Camping in Stavern in the Vestfold region
Well maintained campsite near Stavern (7km.) directly on the Naverfjord. The campsite is located on the water, so there are good swimming, fishing and water sports opportunities. Pedal boats, SUPs and motor boats can be rented at the campsite. Stolpestad Camping is a good place to spend the night to go hiking or cycling in the immediate vicinity. In the nearby towns of Stavern, Larvik and Helgeroa a lot is organized in the summer and the places are definitely worth a visit.
At Stolpestad Camping
Stolpestad Camping has a large number of seasonal pitches, but for "drop-in" guests there are a number of beautiful camping pitches located directly along the beach. In addition, the campsite has 5 cabins. For 5 – 8 people. The campsite is located directly on the beach and sea, making Stolpestad Camping an excellent location if you want to go sailing, windsurfing, water skiing, diving or swimming. Or just chill out on the beautiful sandy beach, enjoying the sun. It is not for nothing that it is known here as the Brunlanes Riviera.
Hiking and cycling in the Stavern area
The beautiful area near Stavern is very popular with cyclists and hikers. For experienced walkers there is a 35km. long hiking route along the coast, the Coast Path. You walk almost continuously directly along the sea from Stavern to Helgeroa. Of course, this beautiful route can also be completed in stages.
Ferry to and from Larvik and Sandefjord
There are a number of ferry destinations in the immediate vicinity of Stolpestad Camping. In Sandefjord (30km.) you can take the Color Line to Strömstad in Sweden. In Larvik (14km.) the ferry (Color Line) departs and arrives from Hirtshals, Denmark. Ideal if you depart or arrive from one of these ports.
Central location between Oslo and Kristiansand
Stolpestad Camping is approx. 13km. drive from the E18 which runs from Oslo (146km.) to Kristiansand (193km.). Ideal if you are on your way between these two cities. However, many campers stay longer than 1 night at Stolpestad Camping because of the location and nice environment. Welcome!
