Really beautifully situated campsite with several sandy beaches and many facilities. Near the port of Larvik. Nice area for walking and cycling. Beautiful sunset!
Omlidstranda Camping is a large, well-maintained campsite right by the sea. So plenty of water sports options. The campsite has no fewer than 4 beautiful sandy beaches and according to many campers, Omlidstranda Camping has 1 of the most beautiful sunsets in Norway. You will find many permanent pitches on the camping site, but the approx. 100 drop-in pitches almost all have a sea view. Omlidstranda Camping is within walking distance of the village of Helgeroa, where you will find a supermarket. The nice town of Stavern is 12km. away and Larvik - where you can take the Colorline ferry to and from Hirtshals, DK – is at 14km. distance. The coastal town of Langesund (where you can sail with the Fjordline to and from Hirtshals, DK) you can see on the other side of the water, but it is still about 40km. to drive.
