Visit Lysebotn, Preikestolen and Kjerag
Lysebotn – where you can take the ferry across the Lysefjord – is a 1.5 hour drive from Lindeland Camping. The descent to Lysebotn is an experience in itself! Once on the Lysefjord, you can see the Preikestolen high above you from the ferry. If you want to visit the Preikestolen, it is a little over 2 hours by car from the campsite. Lindeland Camping is located approximately 60km. from Kjerag, a mountain plateau that has become famous for the stone that is wedged between 2 rocks and seems to float between the rocks. A hike to Kjerag – with a great view over the Lysefjord – is not easy, but very popular.
