Olderelv Camping Skibotn is located directly along the E6 on the edge of the village Skibotn. In Skibotn you will find an indoor swimming pool, a supermarket, gas station and a hardware store. The campsite is located along the E6, about a kilometer from the coast. Even though the campsite is not located directly on the water, it is very popular with campers on their way to the North Cape. Or just go back to the south of Norway.

Olderelv Camping Skibotn is a very well-maintained campsite with many facilities. You will find a large playground with trampoline, a sauna (free use) and a solarium. The restaurant (small menu), the snack bar and the camping shop are only open at weekends in the early and late season. And all summer long. The campsite has various types of cabins. Also some with bathroom and kitchen. Even one with a washing machine. The camping pitches are largely situated on grass. A number of places are paved.

Impressive setting in the Lyngenfjord area

The immediate surroundings of Olderelv Camping Skibotn are very impressive and suitable for beautiful mountain bike tours and walks. From Vardovarri, Svarteberget and Sledo you have a beautiful view of Skibotn. The Lulledalen forrest path is also very popular. You can visit a waterfall near Hengen. Skibotn is known for the low rainfall in the area and is therefore a popular holiday destination.

Campsite along the North Cape Route

Olderelv Camping Skibotn is located near the E6, about 47km. from the Finnish/Swedish border and just over 100km. from Tromso. It is approximately 500km. to the North Cape. Due to its location along the North Cape Route, the campsite is very popular with campers on their way to the North Cape. And many pass by again on the way back. That says enough!
