The camping pitches are spread over the campsite. Due to the spacious layout of the campsite, there is always a nice spot to be found. Please note: the campsite has a limited number of power points. It is therefore recommended to arrive at the campsite on time. Then you might also be able to take a nice walk to the impressive Gorsa waterfall in the afternoon. The area around Basecamp Birtavarre Camping is very impressive and very popular with hikers and mountain bikers. Various walking routes have been set out in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. When you return to the campsite, you can relax in the lounge chairs at the reception while enjoying a cup of coffee.

Basecamp Birtavarre Camping is located near the E6 near the center of Birtavarre. From Birtavarre it is still about 450km. to the North Cape and so many campers choose to make a stop in Alta after Birtavarre. Would you like to see the Northern Lights? The month of September is extremely suitable for this, so a stay in Norway in the autumn is definitely recommended.
