Rognstranda Camping in Stathelle in the Telemark region
Rognstranda Camping is located in a bay on the Rognsfjord and has a beautiful sandy beach. Due to its quiet location directly on the sea, yet close to the E18, Rognstranda Camping is a popular destination for both a short and a long stay. Add to that the fact that the campsite has excellent sanitary facilities and free WIFI and you have the ideal place to stay. In addition to the camping pitches, the campsite has a number of very nicely furnished apartments.
At Rognstranda Camping
The camping pitches at Rognstranda Camping are situated on grass and are scattered throughout the campsite. A number are located directly by the sea. Very nice ! The sanitary facilities at the campsite are of high quality. In addition to beautiful family bathrooms, the campsite also has special children's sanitary facilities. There is a camping shop and in high season you can score fresh bread in the morning. You can swim in the sea or practice various water sports. And …. you can take beautiful walks or throw out your fishing rod in the immediate vicinity of the campsite.
Various sports and play facilities
The beautiful sandy beach on which Rognstranda Camping is located is of course already 1 large playground, but in addition the campsite also has a very large playground and there is a multifunctional sports field which is often used for playing football or basketball.
Environment Stathelle
Rognstranda Camping is located in a beautiful area near the nice coastal villages of Stathelle and Langesund. Both centers are around 9km. away from the campsite and are therefore easily accessible by bicycle. You will find various shops, supermarkets, restaurants and pleasant terraces. In Stathelle you will also find a large indoor shopping mall with no fewer than 85 stores. A nice trip if the weather is not so nice.
Location between Oslo and Kristiansand
If you are traveling on the E18 which runs from Oslo to Kristiansand, then Rognstranda Camping is a great overnight location. The campsite is located exactly in the middle of these 2 cities. Both Oslo and Kristiansand are approximately 2 hours away. In addition, the campsite is close to Langesund (9 km.), where you can take the ferry from the Fjordline to Hirthals in Denmark. But Larvik (half an hour's drive) is also fairly close to the campsite. In Larvik you can also go with the ferry to Hirthals, but then with the Colorline.
