First Camp Norsjo - Telemark in Akkerhaugen in the Telemark region

First Camp Norsjo - Telemark is beautifully located by the lake Norsjo. With a nice drive to both Lifjell, Gaustatoppen and Gygrestolen, you have great opportunities for activities in nature both on water and on land. The Telemark Canal is an experience everyone should treat themselves to. At the camping area, you can board one of the canal boats, the Telemarken, which will take you up to Lunde lock. Lunde lock is located right next to First Camp Lunde - Telemark.

At First Camp Norsjo - Telemark

The pitches at First Camp Norsjo – Telemark are located on terraces with a view of Norsjo and Norsjo Kabelpark and at an area behind the Beachcabins. The beach cabins are located right by Norsjo - Telemark\\'s own beach. In this area, you can also stay in a glamping tent with its own bathing place, and a deck with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Norsjo has its own holiday home, Utsikten, which is slightly outside the camping area itself. In addition to this, the campsite has many facilities, a large playground with bouncy cushion, a mini golf course, bicycles, canoes, kayaks and SUPs for rent, a great brick house which is used for barbecue nights, TV and game nights, a shop, reception, bistro with outdoor seating and fine sanitary facilities. In the summer, there is a kids club with activities for children, as well as a training program for adults, and entertainment evenings with music, dance and quizzes for the whole family.

Norsjo Cable Park

First Camp Norsjo - Telemark is a perfect place for families with children, young people and playful parents. Of course, the campsite has many facilities in itself, but in addition to this, Norsjo Kabelpark is located here. In Norway\\'s only full-size cable, you can challenge yourself with wakeboarding, water skiing and kneeboarding. The cable car is a full 550 meters long and is suitable for beginners as well as advanced users. Here you get full training with courses for both children and adults.

Telemark Canal, Lifjell, Hardangervidda and Gaustatoppen

The region of Telemark has a large number of attractions. Inland you will find the Hardangervidda, the largest mountain plateau in Europe and a great area for hiking. There you will find Gaustatoppen with its height of 1.883 metres, many say this is one of the most beautiful mountains in Norway. You can take the cable car to the top, and from the top you get a great view. The Telemark Canal, with no fewer than 18 locks, is an experience of its own. You can board the canal boat Telemarken at the camping area\\'s own wharf, and join the waterway up to Lunde lock.

The small village Akkerhaugen in Telemark is centrally located in Telemark county and an ideal starting point for exploring the beautiful surroundings. Akkerhaugen is easily accessible by public transport. You can take the train from Nordagutu station, which is 8km. away from First Camp Norsjo – Telemark. How about renting a bike from the campsite to the train station? You can explore Norsjo and come from various destinations along the lake and rent a boat berth at the campsite\\'s own guest jetty. The nearest bus stop, Akkerhaugen bridge, is a 15-minute walk from the campsite.
