Orkla Camping Orkanger is located close to the E39, the coastal road that runs from Kristiansand, Stavanger, Bergen to Trondheim. The campsite is located directly on the Orkla River within walking distance of a supermarket and shopping center. It is only a 10-minute walk to the center of Orkanger and the Orklandbadet (Orkanger indoor swimming pool). Orkla Camping Orkanger has camping pitches that are located on both grass and gravel. The campsite also has a number of beautiful cabins. The sanitary facilities have recently been renovated. There is a good bus connection with Trondheim. During the summer months, the owner occasionally serves pizzas, which he bakes himself in a stone oven on the campsite.
