At Bakkaano Camping & Gjestegard
The campsite does not have fixed places, so just find a nice spot yourself. For campers and caravans there is a part where the ground is somewhat paved (but still with grass ...), for tents there are wonderful places along the edge of the forest. Here you have all the space! No tent, caravan or motorhome with you? Inquire at the reception if there is a room, cabin, glampingtent or apartment available. The apartments are situated in a barn and a silo. Very special!
Covered lunch spot, grill area and playground
Is the weather not so nice? Then there is a covered place at the campsite where you can have your own breakfast in the morning. During the high season, fresh bread rolls and a basic selection of groceries are available at the campsite. You will also find a great barbecue / grill area, a small playground and a sports field on the campsite.
Nordsjovegen
The Nordsjovegen runs from Stavanger to Kristiansand and is also called the Viking Path. It is very popular among cyclists and motorcyclists. Not surprising, because it is a beautiful route that is sometimes very steep and curvy. Along the way you will come across wonderful dreamy villages such as Karmoy and Sokndal. Sooo nice!
Location between Kristiansand and Stavanger in south west Norway
Bakkaano Camping & Gjestegard is located on the outskirts of the village Hauge i Dalane. Nice centrally located between Kristiansand and Stavanger. Far away from the busy E39. If you drive from Kristiansand to Stavanger, take the coastal road (“44”) at Brusand after Egersund and enjoy the beautiful beaches and the amazing view of this coast.
