Turifoss Camping is a small campsite, beautifully situated on the river Stjordalselva. The campsite has had new enthusiastic owners since 2023. On the campsite you will find camping pitches on grass. There is a special tent area for tent campers. In addition, a number of cabins are rented out. Turifoss Camping is located near the E14 which runs from Stjordal (where Trondheim airport is) to Ostersund in Sweden. It is about 50 km. to the E6 at Stjordal. The campsite is open all year round and since there are good winter sports opportunities nearby in Meraker and just across the border in Sweden (near Storlien), you can also use Turifoss Camping as a "base camp" for winter sports.
