Langnes Camping in Grong in the Nord-Trondelag region
The well-maintained Langnes Camping is close to the centre of Grong and the E6. The sanitary facilities at the campsite are excellent, the pitches (paved or grassed) are on a number of terraces and there are cabins for rent. Near the campsite is a beautiful sandy beach where you can relax, swim, play beach volleyball and of course you can fish.
Grong
The centre of Grong is around 2.5 km away. In this cozy place you will find various shops, a large supermarket, café, restaurant, a train station and a gas station. You can easily reach the center of Grong via a cycling / hiking trail. Because Langnes Camping is also open in winter, you can also use the hytter and the paved pitches as a basis for practicing winter sports. Also because Grong Ski Center is only on a 9 km distance.
At Langnes Camping Grong
When you arrive at Langnes Camping Grong you immediately have a nice overview of how the campsite is located. You see the different terraces with camping pitches and hytter, you see the location on the river and on the other side you see the Grong. The WIFI is free, fresh bread rolls and a small selection of groceries are offered at the reception and there is a barbecue area.
Fishing, walking and cycling
You can go fishing in the immediate vicinity of Langnes Camping Grong. The campsite lies directly on the Sanddola river, but also the best salmon river in Norway (Namsen) is nearby. The area is also perfect for taking walks and cycling trips.
Salmon Aquarium and Nammskogan Family Park (zoo)
At only 15-minute drive from the campsite (along the E6) you will find the Laksakvarium (Aquarium, THE place for salmon and trout fishermen). In the salmon aquarium you can see the salmon swimming around and later you can join a delicious salmon dinner. Ca. 40km. north of the campsite you will find Nammskogan Family Park, a large zoo.
