You will find Valldal between Geiranger and Andalsnes. Muri Hytteutleige is located on the edge of this small village, where you will find a bakery, a restaurant with bowling alleys, 2 gas stations, 2 supermarkets and a small number of shops. The campsite is centrally located between the Geirangerfjord and the Trollstigen, but is also very suitable for a longer stay because of the beautiful surroundings and the good fishing opportunities. The campsite has grass pitches for tents as well as gravel pitches for caravans and motorhomes. And also about various cabins.

Personal attention

Muri Hytteutleige has been run by the Muri family since the campsite's inception. The current Muri generation is young, but running a campsite and receiving guests is something they were born with. This reflects in the quality of the facilities and the contact with the campers in the spacious reception area.

At Muri Hytteutleige

At Muri Hytteutleige you will find a playground, a sports field, a trampoline, a fitness course (outside), good sanitary facilities, free WIFI and a reception where they will gladly tell you more about the possibilities in the area. Due to its location right on the fjord, there are good fishing opportunities. Boats can be rented at the campsite. In addition, there are bicycles and go-karts for rent at the campsite and there is a small sandy beach. Please note: the campsite does not have a kitchen to use.

Central location between Geiranger and the Trollstigen

Muri Hytteutleige is close to the ferry Eidsdal - Linge. If you're on your way from Geiranger to Andalsnes, Eidsdal is a short 45-minute drive away, depending on how busy it is. Muri Hytteutleige is a few kilometers away after the ferry crossing. It is then another hour's drive to the top of the Trollstigen (at the viewpoint). The campsite is therefore very popular with campers who are on this route, but also who want to make a day trip from Valldal to the beautiful city of Alesund (80km.)
