Lyngstrand Camping Randsfjord is a child-friendly campsite located in an idyllic location directly on the Randsfjord, about 4km. north of the village Hov. In Hov you will find various shops, including a supermarket. The nearest larger towns are Dokka (22km.), Gjovik (34km.) and Jevnaker, which is an hour's drive away. Oslo is 110km. away. Lyngstrand Camping Randsfjord is spacious. The camping pitches are located in different places on the campsite, but you can also camp directly on the fjord. Lyngstrand Camping Randsfjord has a large number of seasonal pitches, but the most beautiful (free) pitches are located directly on the water. The campsite has a small number of cabins and apartments, a camping shop, a kiosk where you can buy ice cream, drinks and snacks such as a hamburger or pizza, a playground, a fine sandy beach and good fishing opportunities. Swimming, fishing, canoeing and kayaking on the Randsfjord
Lyngstrand Camping Randsfjord is located directly on the water, which of course offers plenty of opportunities to go fishing, to go out on the fjord with your canoe or kayak or to run from the sandy beach into the water and go for a swim. Your children will have a great time here. Tip: also visit the mini climbing park on the north side of the Trevatna (lake). Nice climbing park for children, free to use.
Hiking in the natural surroundings and visit Hadeland Glassverk in Jevnaker
The surroundings of Lyngstrand Camping Randsfjord are very beautiful. There are various hikes possible, but a hike in the Langsua Nasjonalpark is definitely worth it. A visit to the glass museum Hadeland Glassverk in Jevnaker is also well worth a visit. Hadeland Glassverk is not only a museum, you can also buy beautiful glassware in 1 of the 9 shops, you can see how the glassblowers work and there are often exhibitions!
