Tynset Rom og Camping is a beautifully situated site on the Glomma River, a well-kept campsite with many accommodations, including nicely furnished rooms and beautiful cabins. The camping pitches on the campsite are partly on gravel and partly on grass. There is always a nice place to find. The campsite is within walking distance of the center of Tynset with various shops and supermarkets, one is directly opposite the campsite. Are you looking for a little more convenience? Tynset Rom og Camping is located on the banks of the Glomma, the longest river in Norway with a total length of no less than 621km. The river is very well known for trout and grayling. If you want to visit Tynset in the winter and you like cross-country skiing and skiing, you can use Tynset Rom og Camping as a base. Location between Alvdal and Roros
If you are traveling on the "3" from Hamar to Trondheim and you want to visit the old mining town of Roros, you could camp with your caravan or tent at Tynset Rom og Camping and then take a day trip to Roros. The campsite is only a few km. distance from the junction of the "3" and the "26" towards Roros. You can also do this by public transport, because in Tynset there is a train station on the Hamar - Trondheim route (with stops in Tynset and Roros).
