Cabins and pitches
The cabins at Saeterasen Hytter og Camping are widely spread in the forest at the campsite. The cabins are very popular with winter sports enthusiasts who can enjoy themselves on the slopes of the Trysil winter sports area. The camping pitches are partly situated on grass and partly on gravel.
Winter sports, cycling, fishing and hiking
Saeterasen Hytter og Camping is a great destination in both summer and winter. The winter sports area of Trysil (the largest in Norway) is only 8km. away. The cross-country trails start right at the campsite and lead to the center of Trysil. In the summer you can make beautiful cycling trips in the area. Bicycles are available at the reception. If you prefer to go fishing or hiking for a day, please inquire with the owner for the best places or walking routes.
Located between Elverum and Trysil near the Swedish border
Saeterasen Hytter og Camping is located on the “25” which runs from Elverum (45min.) to Trysil (10min.). Trysil is close to the Swedish border, so the campsite is also ideal if you are passing through.
