Johnsgard Turistsenter is a quiet family campsite run by young enthusiastic owners. The campsite is located in a beautiful spot on Lake Langsjoen. You can skate on the lake in the winter and make beautiful canoe trips in the summer. The use of rowing boats and canoes is free. Johnsgard Turistsenter is a campsite where hiking enthusiasts and peace seekers can indulge themselves. Various walking routes have been set out in the immediate vicinity of the campsite. The owners are happy to help you on your way. You can also rent hiking equipment there.
At Johnsgard Turistsenter
Whether you arrive with a camper, caravan or tent, you can always find a nice spot at Johnsgard Turistsenter. Near the playground, or with your tent or hammock between the trees right on the beautiful Langsjoen lake. In addition to the camping pitches, there are various cabins for rent. For 2 – 8 people. Also adapted for disabled people. All non-smoking. Johnsgard Turistsenter has a large playground with an obstacle course and a pirate ship.
Langsjoen and Femunden (Lake Femund)
In the winter Lake Langsjoen is suitable for skating, in the summer you can enjoy SUP and canoeing. The use of the canoes for guests of Johnsgard Turistsenter is free. Directly on the shore of Lake Langsjoen you will also find a whirlpool and a wood-fired sauna. And let's face it, what could be better than relaxing in a bubble bath and/or sauna after a day of canoeing. A visit to the nearby Femundsee (one of Norway's largest lakes) is also very worthwhile. This beautiful lake is home to countless islands and is surrounded on all sides by beautiful forests and 2 National Parks.

The campsite not only has good facilities, it is also centrally located in the Alvdal - Drevsjo - Roros triangle in eastern Norway. Johnsgard Turistsenter is also open in winter. You can go cross-country skiing in the immediate vicinity of the campsite and you can skate on the Langsjoen lake. In autumn you may be able to see the Northern Lights from a canoe. How cool is that!
