A campsite with well-kept sanitary facilities, a snackbar and a 1 km sandy beach, located in a truly wonderfully peaceful location directly on the north side of Lake Osensjoen.
Osensjoen Campsite in Osen in the Innlandet (Hedmark) region
Osensjoen Camping is located directly on the beautiful Osensjoenmeer, which is surrounded by extensive forests. On the Osensjoenmeer you can enjoy canoeing, surfing, stand up paddling and also excellent fishing. Canoes, surfboards and various rowing boats can be rented at the campsite. Osensjoen Camping itself has a small sandy beach, but next to the campsite there is another sandy beach with a length of 1 km… so great swimming opportunities !!
At Osensjoen Camping
The reception of Osensjoen Camping is located in the kiosk/snack bar where you can order a hot snack in addition to sweets, ice cream, hot and cold drinks. At the kiosk there is a (partly covered) terrace, where you have a wonderful view of the Osensjoenmeer. The camping pitches are spread over the campsite, but the most beautiful places are located directly on the sandy beach. In addition, there are a number of cabins and a cozy Glamping tent for rent or you can spend the night in a hammock between the trees. WITH a view of the lake. Wow !
Costa del Osen
The huge sandy beach at Osensjoen Camping is one of the longest sandy beaches in inland Norway. Hugely popular weather permitting. Also with the locals who have named the beautiful beach: Costa del Osen. But even when the weather is a bit less, the lake and the beach offer a beautiful spectacle.
Cross-country skiing and skiing
Osensjoen Camping is open all year round, so the campsite can also be used as a base for winter sports. Several of the dozens of kilometers of cross-country trails run right past the campsite. In addition, the winter sports area of Trysil (Trysilfjellet) is about half an hour\'s drive from the campsite. This winter sports area is Norway\'s largest winter sports destination.
Located in the heart of Eastern Norway
The area surrounding Osensjoen Camping is a true paradise for nature lovers and hikers. Large forests and beautiful nature in this heart of the former Hedmark region (today: Innlandet) make the area particularly popular with those who love peace and quiet. Fishing enthusiasts can also indulge themselves here. For example, by sailing a boat onto the enormous Osenjoenmeer and casting a fishing rod.
