Large campsite with many facilities located on a river within walking / cycling distance of the pleasant center of Gol. Great sanitary. Good restaurant.
First Camp Gol - Hallingdal in Gol in the Buskerud region
First Camp Gol - Hallingdal is open all year round. A great place to visit if you like to do both summer and winter activities. In both Gol, Hemsedal and Geilo (which are nearby) you will find attractive alpine centres. In the summer, you are guaranteed to find a nice pitch at this great campsite. Here you will find several new sanitary facilities, with both single rooms, for families and people with disabilities. At the campsite, you can rent cabins and apartments of various sizes.
At First Camp Gol - Hallingdal
The campsite consists of two parts, the lower part consists of the most drop-in places, the upper part has the most seasonal places, but also some drop-ins at the bottom. There is a playground near the reception and a bistro, but you will also find a playground and an open-air bath – Hallingstampen - on the other side of the road (accessible to pedestrians via an underpass). There are also good fishing opportunities here! How about grilling today\\\'s catch on the camping grill? Otherwise, the bistro is open during the summer season, with large outdoor seating.
Swimming pool, playground and Gol\\'s stave church
Your children will not be bored at First Camp Gol - Hallingdal. The campsite has a large outdoor swimming pool, only NOK 60 for a day ticket per person and several sports and play facilities such as a large jumping pillow. The area is also nice for hikes. Other tips for places to visit nearby: Gol Stavkirke, Langedrag Animal Park and Bjorneparken in Fla (the two largest animal parks in Buskerud county) and Gol Motor & Fritidspark.
Location 2 ½ hours from Oslo
For many campers, First Camp Gol - Hallingdal is a nice stop on the journey between Oslo and Bergen. Via the new road RV7 it takes 2 ½ hours to get to Gol and further to Bergen it is 4 hours and 45 minutes. Feel free to stop by Hardangervidda National Park or take a small detour around Nerøyfjorden Verdsarvpark and perhaps up Jostedalsbreen National Park? Nature-rich Norway offers many experiences.
